 If Japan releases radiated waste from Fukushima nuclear disaster into open seas,consumers must think twice before buying foodstuff from Japan whether its fruit,vegetable or seafood.nope no dried oysters or scallops or hokkaido seafood.the ocean is interconnected and has no borders so the seafood chain will have food safety concerns if the waters that support marine life is toxic.the scary part is there may be no immediate side effects but  decades or generations later,diseases due to radioactive poisoning may damage health of consumers.look at the mercury poisoning n the minamata effect and agent orange
