Fictional world.

this whole day ive been transported to old Malaya in the second world war.im captivated by the story of Cecily and her 3 children .Vanessa Chans novel the Storm We made is captivating and im intrigued by her misplaced idealism for Asia for Asians until shes prepared to betray her hubby Gordon for the scum Fujiwara who disguised himself as a Chinese trader Bingley Chan. The setting is so well drawn that i couldnt put down the book to cook lunch and just grabbed a salad to eat. This novel has the potential to be made into a film and i see Elaine Daly playing the role of Cecily. the problem is i cant drag myself away from Malaya to return to the present to cook dinner. thats the power of literature as i went to the Lit bookshop and mentioned to the owner that many of the novels im seeking are out of print books.the bookmark of the Lit is meaningful.
