viewed Ajarn Brahm talk on recent world events and how Buddhist message of non violence is reiterated.violence begets vengence only amnesty,forgiveness n non retaliation will bring peace.his kindness and gentle humour really lets me see things in perspective.he cited how in the vietnam war,the us had far bigger resources and superior weapons but couldnt defeat the strong commitment of vietnamese people to defend their homeland.
i giggled when he mentioned how boundaries are artificial lines that divide us from them but on the actual ground you dont see those borders demarcation.
so around the monastery,they put up signboards warning any trespassers will be converted.thats so funny.
pray peace will prevail and families will be safe.good nite.may all be calm and may the unarmed ,defenceless people get to rest as nite falls
