 CLIMATE CHANGE is not some faraway scenario.its real.happening right now at our doorstep.

  In the sweltering heat,we expetience wildfires and soon drought which will destroy crop production.with supply chain disruption due to war in Europe,the shortage of wheat will worsen with wildfires n heatwave causing drought n loss of agriculture crops.

   So China in forseeing global warming affecting food production were researching genetically modified rice plants that grow in high salinity water as rising sea levels will change the PH level of soil.Now drought resistant wheat has to be  invented.

The European Comission has targeted reduction of carbon emissions by 55% drop by 2030 from the 1990 level.But the Paris Accord in 2015 is hard to achieve when there is shortage of energy and the region forced to set up coal fired power plants.Japan is restarting nuclear power plants but the European nations like Germany have a no nuke policy.That leaves hydro power plants but with severe heatwave,the drop in water level jeopardizes smooth operation.So solar energy is the best option.

The heatwave not only threatens health or agriculture but also infrastructure. Computer server malfunctions in heatwave.Flights are disrupted as airports runway melts n buckle in the sizzling heat.just saw a youtube video recreate a scene from The train to Busan.the train from Brussels to Paris air condition malfunction and inside temperature reached 45 o celsius and passengers were trapped inside for 4 hours Some had to break the glass windows to get  relief.The other clip showed a train running past Spains extensive wildfires with fields lit ablaze.it was a scene from Dantes Inferno.

Remember Paris Accord  and reduce average global temperature  by  1.5  degree celsius above pre industrial levels.
