Price of food go up

i usually buy the sakura instant bread mix of wholewheat at rm5.00.now instant bread mix is priced at rm 9.00.nearly double rise in wheat price.the fried banana or goreng pisang per piece was rm 1.00 before covid.after lockdown,it rose to rm1.50 and today i saw it rose to rm 1.80 per piece of deep fried banana as price of cooking oil,flour n eggs have risen.eating out is costly as goreng pisang price nearly doubled. so i look for recipes that use less eggs.A banana or potato bread recipe uses 3 eggs and the mango yoghurt cake uses 5 eggs.so i baked carrot cake using 1 egg. i was berating myself for my stiff butterfingers at the Tesco Lotus cashier counter.while lifting the tray of 30 eggs at rm 13 ,my fingers cant grasp the whole tray properly and 5 eggs dropped on the floor.i apologized for my stupid clumsiness but luckily the nice cashier let me replace it.now to cut cost,they dont employ helpers to help us fill up the shopping bag and stupid clumsy fingers of mine cant grip frozen foodstuff or things firmly.5 eggs can make a yoghurt cake.so very arthritic hands of mine. for lunch i cooked japanese potato salad with cucumber,egg,chicken pepperoni n coral lettuce.had banana green kiwi and a cup of black sesame rye drink.tonite gonna cook Terengganu fish laksa.yum
