Love is the survival mechanism for humans to procreate and vital for the survival of the species.Love is a biochemical reaction that fires up your reproductive hormones and organs to a peak.so why love?
Love that is an obssession and possession is a chain that binds us.It is an attachment that comes with suffering.When we fall in love,we are on cloud nine and when we lose it,we fall to the bottom of hell.
Love comes with a price.Your free will.
It comes with a responsibility to care,and consumes time and energy.Is it possible to love something or someone without the need to own it?the love that truly liberates means you appreciate its beauty and you wish for it to be happy and carefree.so i fell in love with cats but i dont want to possess them as it takes too much time and energy to care for it and gives heartbreak when it falls sick or dies.so I play with stray cats,feed them and enjoy their company without needing to own one.The detachment gives me peace of mind.
Im mad about my flowering plants,the mock orange blossom,the purple rose,the pink periwinkles.they are a beauty to behold but take time to grow well,water daily,protect from pest so to have joy,,you have to be prepared for
the pain of attachment when pests kill them or a heatwave shrivels the plant or too much water rots the roots.the cost of love is the pain that comes with loss.the deeper the attachment,the deeper the suffering.
I love aesthetic of historical artifacts and great masterpieces of art like sunflowers of Van Gogh or waterlilies of Monet but i dont want to own them as it takes lots of money and energy to preserve them in mint condition.but i will visit public gallery and museums to view and appreciate them.
So love liberates when it frees rather than imprison.Its happiness lies not in your own happiness but at heart in knowing the object of your love is happy,safe,well cared for and cherished.😍😍😍💕Love from afar is love forever
