Sandras death shook me to the core
Its a closing of a chapter of carefree childhood days
The memories linger of milk coconut candy and trifle àt Christmas
The secret dreams and little adventures
Its with regret that i never made the effort to say goodbye
Cause time and distance separated us
Now all the words ive wanted to say fall on silent ground
Like holding on to memories that escape like water from a sieve
There is no turning back the clock
Or catching the shadow that lurks in the setting sun
Or a life that vanishes ,just like the wind passing through an empty sky
