Religious view on LGBT

There is more tolerance of the LGBT community in modern times.i just found out Tennesee Williams the American playwright was a closet gay in the 1950s when homosexuality was a crime and the social stigma could have ruined his writing career.so his play A streetcar named desire and the cat on a hot tin roof are 2 books i wanna buy to reread.

What do different religions view homosexuality and transgenderism.there is homophobia and discrimination of gays in judeo christian and islamic faiths,or the abrahamic religions.from the time when it was considered a crime,to discriminate them as queers to conversion therapy and silencing their views in the media and shutting out their voices in public education or condemning public parades, they are viewed as lesser beings than straight people.

Its only in Taiwan that the human rights of LGBT are acknowledged as civil union is deemed between 2 persons and not a man and a woman so inheritance rights and spousal rights are legitimized as are adopted children.

why would heterosexual people view themselves as morally superior holders of goodness when acts are done by them like paedophilia, incest, rapes, domestic abuse or bestiality and pornography.all such acts cause or inflict more pain and suffering whether mental, emotional or physical compared to sex between two consenting adults.as long as the LGBT members dont aggressively behave in public and have decency to be discreet and not flaunt their acts in public view, what people do in privacy behind closed doors is not deemed criminal offence.instead its an intrusion of ptivacy to be a voyeur to peep and install secret cameras to record what people are doing in the bedroom or bathroom as they get cheap thrills out of being peeping toms or make money out of illicit sales of videos online.

I find Buddhist monastics keep themselves shut off from the realities on the ground and cut off from worldly affairs.interfering in politics is wrong but they are mute on current issues like climate change or gay rights or corruption and internet addiction.

Hinduism does mention on the third sex or neuter gender in the holy texts so transgender and homosexuals are not treated as deviants

Its time buddhist monastics voice out views on cutrent affairs or be dinosaurs that come from a historical era.what is view on  invitro fertilisation and karma or bioethics of gene manipulation to avoid genetic diseases or is same sex marriage cast as sexual misconduct and is anti aging therapy going against natural order of old age and disease and is euthanasia breaking rule of life and death

What is the karma of those who commit suicide while still young or those children killed by war.is it a retribution for past wrongs they have done to be born in a war torn nation.how about using animal organs for transplant to keep our bodies alive (are animals inferior species to humans?)and use of regenerative medicine.if buddhist doctors or scientists dont give their stance, then educated monastics should give guidelines or the young will look for the answers themselves and turn away from religiosity to spirituality.
