Grocery shopping

went to one utama mall at aeon supermarket to do grocery shopping.nowadays i cook and bake a lot at home.i feel certain food is cheaper at supermarket than the wet market.i bought 7 small drumsticks for rm 7.50 working out to rm1.10 per drumstick.the same thing cost me rm2.00 per drumstick at the wet market.i also bought local barramundi fillet at rm14 per piece and norwegian atlantic salmon fillet at rm 14 per piece.the wet market charges rm 19 to 20 for same salmon fillet.but i have to cut out imported fruit as they are damn expensive.only bought blueberry from south africa at rm 9.90 per pack.even local red dragon fruit n star fruit cost rm12.90 per kilo.i buy from lorries that sell fruit direct from farms.its cheaper. i will bake jun his birthday cake as a small cake cost rm 50.i can bake at half the price a moist chocolate cake.nowadays i go different places to grocery shop to get bargains.ive cut out skincare,make up,handbags,gadgets.inflation is cutting into the purchasing power of middle class. i buy refillable packs of detergents n housebrand toiletries to save more.but thd xmas trees at the mall are so pretty.the chocolates and xmas cookies are so tempting but i gonna resist and buy healthy fruit instead.the gelato and the bubble tea i have to give up and eat frozen mashed watermelon sorbet is healthier.there are choices in life.better eat healthy food rather than take more medicine and pills.its a lifestyle choice.eat to live.
