Yummy brunch

saw SS2 new dessert shop selling traditional rice pudding dessert like how my Po Po used to make and sell as a street hawker.the rice she used a stone mill to grind to flour before steaming yam cake,thousand layer cake,peanut rice kuih and black sesame kuih.this branch of Kwan Kee dessert from Hong Kong uses stone ground rice flour.i tested the black sesame kuih and brown sugar red bean kuih and it was as good as my Po pos cooking.the texture is firm and springy,not soft and wobbly.the sesame smell is very fragrant but they didnt put enough red beans.otherwise a good meal with the italian cheeese spinach muffin i baked,a cup of pu erh tea and some grapes and blueberries and thats satisfying. today i baked 2 chocolate cakes sandwiched with slices of ripe banana n topped with crunchy walnut.the slices of banana are soft n creamy like custard.i got walnuts n sweet bell peppers from the 2Eco shop so its a bargain.next week i bake purple sweet potato buns and coconut flour cake with coconut milk n greek yoghurt.i love youtube cooks who generously share their recipes.
