the equivalent to disneyfication is to build sinophile castles in the air.so im thinking of martial arts or wuxia movies that showcase kung fu skills and the invincible swordsmen.these were like the chlvalry of western white knights battling evil people and having superhero powers to walk on water and leap to the sky.with dazzling sword fighting skills,they mete out justice and fought to uphold honour.jiang hu or the world of common people needed the protection of swordsmen to protect lives and property.crouching tiger hidden dragon,or the one armed swordsman and novels of jin yong portray the wuxia world,an idealized universe that exist in fiction.
