the adventurer Laurence Brahm has done great job with his series of boutique hotels n eco resorts.he preserves ethnic heritage building using authentic traditional craftsmanship n local artisans.
the red capital ranch has the grey monotone of traditional buildings but infused with vivid rich tones of tibetan,chinese n mongolian interior design.such a warm,intimate accomodation.the next time i get to travel,i would prefer to stay in such places,not stark modern high rise hotels so impersonal.
i was reading book decorating asia and i like the fusion of ethnic and modern elements.the ability to combine them into a cohesive decor needs creativity n artistic flair.
