Xmas coming to the malls

there is a festive mood at the malls as xmas decorations are put up.i love the brightly decorated trees and listening to carols by micheal buble and mariah carey.such an uplifting mood.saw this at the new supermart Mix ,a real saxophonist playing his heart out as a display window dressing alongside mannequin of an astronaunt.the store sells processed food from korea, japan, taiwan, china and thailand.i bought and loved the braised duck web feet from china.like chicken feet this is an acquired taste of the chinese like how the French eat snails, goose liver and frog leg.but i still dont have the guts to buy spicy mala rabbit meat.so i bought xiao long bao or soup dumplings.jun is addicted to chinese tea.he bought the alishan royal tea which i rate 10/10.alishan tea is organic n high mountain gao shan tea.fragrant n slightly bittersweet tinge, its fit for an emperor to drink.i ate some traditional chinese pastry like sesame puff, greenpea biscuit n chicken biscuit.so i wanna revival of traditional pastry like walnut biscuit n almond biscuit n peanut crush.they use less butter n fat. i saw a stairway to the Shambala paradise at the feng shui shop but they cordon off the entrance.i guess not enough staff to man or woman the place.then i went to glutton street in ss2 for supper.there was a stall that use a robotic chef from china to make cut noodles.pretty cool.i also discover an Indian stall that makes apam n
ext to it.a favourite of mine is apam dipped in coconut milk.more supper food next week.luckily most malaysianz have covid vaccination so we can dine out.
