Are govts facing reality on the ground?

with the recent severe floods causing damage to property n loss of lives,do you think governments are well prepared for devastation of climate change?not so if you see the lack of emergency rescues of flood victims, early warning to evacuate or lack of food ,clothing n supplies for flood relief victims. look at how low lying nations like the netherlands design infrastructure to cope with rising seawater. the other thing govts are ill prepared is the rising cost of energy due to disruption of logistic supply caused by pandemic.in europe rising energy cost n expense results in the middle class trying to pay for rise in food bills n energy bills.especially in winter, families paying for rise in heating bills are forced to cutback in buying food.in the uk,families who lose jobs due to shutdown in business of pandemic are forced to rely on food banks to feed families.so its a case of eat or heat.how have govts adjusted to providing social security to homeless n jobless families.with the effect of long covid side effects, many otherwise healthy workers suffer disability or poor health which affects the productivity of the nation.how will govts solve this issue? in wartime, its mostly loss of healthy males who are disabled n cant work but with covid it affects old n young, males and females.will the switch to robotics n automation boost productivity ,then what will happen to the displaced and replaced workers when they are made redundant?will the final solution of Hitler materialize?
