Keep tradition alive

im trying to keep tradition alive. mom used to be that figure n now i take over the role.last nite i cooked two wok of vegetarian buddhas delite to give to both my elder sisters.its moms special dish that everyone loves to eat on the first day of new year.steam nien gao with fresh grated coconut is like eating mochi or malay dodol.i steamed a small cake n the other i will fry with beaten egg.i may cook yam cake on 7th day of new year or everymans birthday.yan yat.
