Does the EU mean Endless Unilateral war?

Europe has been the base and cause of two world wars and now looks at the start of another war that is drawing other nations into its conflict. The EU leaders are appointed,not elected so its not democratic.they are accountable to no one,they make decisions ranging from immigration to common currency and imposes its decisions on individual sovereign nations which obeys EU laws.So a supranational organisation can be both a boon or a bane.Its different from a supranational organisation like OPEC that is an oil cartel mainly focused on controlling supply and prices of a commodity.The EU is an autocratic,non transparent organization and yet it is a lapdog of the US when it comes to military interventions and collaborations. This western hegemony causes geopolitical tensions and rising risks of war all over the world.
