Every man is for himself and the Devil take the hindmost.The Hindsight i get from those is those closest to you are likely to hurt you the deepest by  betraying you and stabbing you from the back.W

Whether it is the politicians promises or a nation s so called altruistic helping hand,we should not forget at the end of the day,self interest reigns above all else.This is a doctrine of self-preservation, which is said to be the first law of nature. As the French say, ‘Sauve qui peut’ (‘Save himself who can’). The phrase ‘the devil take the hindmost’ means ‘bad luck on the one who is last’
