Taking one day at a time, one moment in time

No puedes estar en su presencia sin sentir un profundo amor, respeto, admiración y felicidad por su inteligencia.

Su alma es muy bella y le amas, Que conozcan a alguien así

At this moment Im taking things one step at a time. There is so much turbulence at both personal level and circumstances around me moving beyond my control and expectations that i hope it wont drag me down and i get lost in the storms.
Im not well and i think its karma that we attract that thing which we fear the most.My body is aching,my joints are inflammed,im down with severe sore throat n feeling lethargic.mostly feel like resting and sleeping and eating simple foods to recover.
No energy to do much except cook, garden, sleep or listen to jazz music.but i know the storm will pass and i will be back on my feet again.meanwhile i brighten up with hope looking at the photos n positive notes Ulrich Janse Van vuuren posts on his garden, the roses blooming, the green ferns, the sunsets in the park, the bars and cute cafes in his town, the colourful murals so that there is so much beautiful things around us amidst the gloom of the pandemic and war.
just received heartbreaking news that my uncle in Singapore has passed away in his eighties. He was the most inspirational male role model in my younger days.he can cook fabulous meals, sew clothes, taught us handicraft skills like weaving straw hats, taught us how to swim and as a sports lecturer instill the passion for sports in me.He played racket sports, taught swimming and was a scouts leader taking his students on camping trips.he modelled the maxim of living life to the fullest, never letting personal adversity pull him down.My aunt had a limping leg due to polio and his youngest child was severe downs syndrome
But still he was actively involved in raising funds for charity and was so persistent never to give up his dreams that he studied for his degree in the United States when he was middle aged as his education was interrupted by the second world war.he never lose sight of his goals in life, nor waver from his values of family unity, strength and service to his students, his community and his country.may his soul be at peace and family find solace and comfort that he is resting in peace now.im grieving at the loss of a wonderful role model of what a man,a teacher,a husband,a father and an uncle should be.
So things need time to heal as what is needed is patience, forbearance and hope. A quote from Don Quixote is my sign that all these shall pass one day.
