Detective Chinatown 1900

i watched a China psychothriller with Jun last nite.i give it a 4/5 as the acting of the white actors were subpar except for John Cusack.I felt that they should hire real Red Indians to cast as native Americans.Using Wang Bao Qiang and the tribe who were ethnic Uigher to act as Red Indians in dark body paint is disrespecting native Americans like how white actors paint faces black to portray blackface is insulting black Americans.Come on it cant be hard to go to Red Indian reservations to look for real Cherokee or Apaches. Otherwise i like the plot of racism and anti Asian hate and how migrants who contributed to the economic development in the US are mistreated as yellow peril and chinks or Fu Man Chu.its like how in Australia in the past discriminated the Chinese migrants and the native Aborigine.the white supremacists look at different coloured people as scumbags and potential criminals .I feel the movie has interesting historical underpinnings and sends a message that the sun rises in the East.What goes around comes around.
