Influenza n pneumonia

RIP Taiwanese actress Barbie Hsu passed away from pneumonia after contracting influenza while on holiday in Japan.May her family find peace and solace.This is when we underestmate effects of dengue or influenza.i wish our health ministry give free or subsidized influenza vaccinations to elderly ovef 60 years old as pneumonia has overtaken coronary heart disease as leading cause of mortality in Malaysia . When i felt sick with fever,cough and stuffy nose,i went to govt clinic.tested negative for dengue and took 3 days of medicine from the government clinic.I still felt unwell after 3 days with high fever,muscle aches,headache,lethargy,cough n running nose so i went to a private clinic.The locum that nite was working at Sg Buloh public hospital.He did 2 blood tests .tested negative for Covid19 but positive for influenza A so prescribed Tamiflu n 5 days of different medicine from cough syrup to gargle.luckily it worked n i recovered so now i drink tigermilk mushroom to boost respiratory system .Pneumonia can be deadly so i dont take it lightly.My cancer warrior sis in law won cancer but died of pneumonia,a bacterial infection.
