Just attended the wake of Pushpas mom .Shes a dutiful daughter who was the caregiver until her passing away.Like Chinese funerals,there are Hindu rites and even the covering up of all photos n portraits on the walls are the same as the Chinese.Some old school mates came to pay the last respect whether Catholic,Muslims or Buddhists,we were like sisters growing up and studying together in the same school.
At my age,its more like 4 funerals and a wedding.
