When national exams results are touted,the amazing number of As scored is shown as proof of the IQ level of the students.That is misleading as the exam standards can be set so low,the level of questions so easy or students can buy exam questions beforehand from unscrupulous leakages.
To maintain a high standard,would they dare to benchmark against international standard exams like the I B or the A levels or Australian matriculation.Let our students sit for international exams or be assessed by PISA ranking to see how meritocracy decides on whose nations students meets the global standard.dont be a frog under the coconut shell or to the worm,the apple is their world.thats how the rot starts from manipulating grading to skewing results.
