Misinformation

The western media has a hidden agenda in spreading misinformation about the doom and gloom in China. From an article in the Newsweek,it seemingly shows a visitor taking photos of a ghost town in Shanghai with deserted street and an empty Starbucks restaurant.

All the smearing intended to portray a pessismistic view of the economic shutdown of Chinas bustling city shows a biased, slanted picture taken out of context.most probably in wee hours of morning or a coffee shop that has shut down due to being situated in the wrong location downtown.

All the smearing derives from distorted perception that is afraid its hegemonic hold on global power is at risk.so there arises the delusion, paranoia and hysteria of the politicians and their sidekick mass media.

Just had lunch at a popular chinese restaurant serving Shanghai cuisine with my ex colleague who is going to retire at the end of this year. Her plans is to go for a holiday with friends to Shanghai,Hangzhou and Suzhou. Its not her first trip to China so shes doing a free and easy relaxing trip, planning to sightsee the classical gardens, cultural shows, silk factory and shopping centres.i asked her to take photos to show me the so called ghost city of Shanghai, the diners in the restaurants and the street markets that will debunk the misinformation.Sbe also plans to visit Taiwan next year as she plans to see Alishan n Sunmoon lake and sample Shilin streetfood.Shes thinking twice of going to Japan due to depreciation of ringgit and the scare about seafood.

We had a good time chatting about the good old days and how fast time flies.i would probably catch up with her stories when she comes back from her trip.
