It took me a week to finish reading two fictional novels,She and her cat and Chinglish.but this last historical heavyweight tome Post Wall,Post Square,Rebuilding the world after 1989 by Kristina Spohr would take a few months to finish.i was captured by the blurb by Financial Times "reminds us of the importance of intelligent,responsible political leadership at critical moments of history."
I like the incisive wit of the cartoon on the state of the world during bipolar Cold War disorder and the current multiple personality disorder in the present geopolitical conflict.
Howard Zinn the historian said "You cant be neutral on a moving train."
By not acting,we turn a blind eye and condone injustices and abuses.
