Music be the food of love

If music be the food of love

Play on

Give me excess of it, that, surfeiting,

The appetite may sicken, and so die.

That strain again! it had a dying fall:

O, it came o'er my ear like the sweet south,

That breathes upon a bank of violets,

Stealing and giving odour! Enough; no more:

'Tis not so sweet now as it was before.

O spirit of love! how quick and fresh art thou,

That, notwithstanding thy capacity 10

Receiveth as the sea, nought enters there,

Of what validity and pitch soe'er,

But falls into abatement and low price,

Even in a minute: so full of shapes is fancy

That it alone is high fantastical.

Ive been transported to another sublime world listening to the Sanskrit song Madalasa song from the Markandeya Purana.the singing is so beautiful and the lyrics evocative of a mothers wisdom on self, illusions, attachment, dukkha and suka.music is a universal language like dance.

Also transported by French musician Eliott Tordo masterpieces he plays on the erhu.its a notoriously difficult musical instrument to play unlike the violin but incredible this westerner

Is  a self taught erhu player after he fell in love with the erhu and couldnt find a teacher in France. But he brings his creative interpretation to classical chinese songs played against stunning, cinematic background of nature.please give a concert in Malaysia.youre a musical delight.
