Weekend havoc

Started bright n early with zumba dancing in the park.then explore heritage part of Chinatown in Kuala Lumpur but it was a superhot n dry weather.temperature hit 35 degree celsius and the cement sidewalk was like a sauna emitting heatwaves.

Put on shades, sunhat n carried a bottle of mineral water to hydrate.went Central Market, then Rexx KL to bookshop and saw a concert on 24 drums, then explore flower market n hipster cafe.Old China cafe is booked for a private function or else i would love to eat the nyonya pie tee and ayam pong teh.

The old school Chinese food has disappeared as the younger generation have no interest in the business.i really miss the dim sum at Yook Woo Hin restaurant, the wantan noodles at Ho Wing Kee with the best sui kow.luckily mooncakes n old fashioned egg tarts, walnut cookies, milk biscuits, baked bbq pork bun are still sold at Fung Wong bakery that is turned into a hipster cafe.Bunn Cheong set up in 1853 is still open n can buy mooncakes there.Mom used to take us there to eat and.buy tanglung in Petaling Street.the best Hokkien mee at Kim lian Kee is still there.its good that effort is made to reinvent heritage buildings.gonna go to Reggae Mansion one evening.so fun to explore old part of Chinatown
