Spread light

it is a cold,dark rainy night but when i lit the lantern,it dispelled the darkness around it so spread the light and give hope to others sitting in my rocking chair i enjoy the pitter patter of soft rain and the chilly wind flapping the bamboo blind wishing that people on the other side of the world get to enjoy this peaceful nite too although oceans apart,we are still the same someones parent,anothers child,someones lover anothers neighbour so dont destroy the human in humanity can you catch the whiff of the smell of the white orange blossoms hopefully it can overpower the stench of death live and let live tomorrow is another day
