Why set the world on fire

we humans are hell bent on self destruction. we have a pandemic threatening our very existence then we go start a war sparking exodus of refugees and widespread destruction i pray my future generation will grow up in a peaceful world on a beautiful earth. pray the children of today will grow up well and happy and be safe from the trauma of war and pestilence. wish my parents were alive today with their wisdom. they would be in the 90s now and given me advice on how to be resilient and mentally fortify myself in the time of shock of war,economic instability and horror of pandemic. pray for peace and happiness may peace prevail may humanity be restored
