I love books and library n bookshops.today i went to browse at the books at the bookshop Book Xcess.Lo!Behold Seek and Ye shall find.the universe heard my secret desire and i Found it.The book Manufacturing Consent by Noam Chomsky and a newer book Who Rules the world,the last copy on the shelf.i quickly grabbed them.What a moment of Karma. Then it was off to the night market in Taman Megah which used to be a weekly haunt of Jun and me in his younger days.I buy clothes,bed sheets,kitchen utensils Juns school bags and even slippers and shoes at affordable prices. The range of food is amazing compared to the past.i can buy Indonesian satay,curry,Thai salad,grilled meat moo ping,sweet dessert of bean paste dumplings in duck or fruit shapes,vietnamese banh mi,china scallion pancakes and pork n cabbage pancakes,korean fried chicken,japanese croquette,and taiwan sausage n hot mochi and china tang hulu or sugared stick of fruit.Jun dreamt last nite of eating the western cakes sold at street nite market.its cheaper than home baked cake at rm

9 a box of caramel coffee cake and layered mango cake.i ate sweet peanut soup,a chinese fried pancake,some vegetarian crystal dumplings and a bowl of soyabean curd.what a delicious meal that wont blow a hole in my budget. yipee i spotted tiramisu and matcha tiramisu at night market.next week i will buy tiramisu and pizza with iced latte for dinner.i love diversity in food.maybe i can get korean fried chicken and japanese potato croquettes with mochi the following week.
