Herbal boost

An elderly Chinese aunty taught me how to boost my qi by drinking herbal tea throughout the day ive been sipping pu erh tea with crysanthemum and cordyceps flowers in a hot thermal mug and yesterday i sipped american ginseng tea with chrysanthemum flowers and goji berries.i feel more energetic instead of a surge in power, its a recharging of battery at constant supply. its like the heart is a tree trunk and the roots are arteries and veins that absorb nutrients and returns to trunk to nourish leaves and fruits.
My philosophy with food is not to overindulge.Does the food i consume bring me health benefit or not.Ive given up on red meat for 25 years ,no beef, pork, lamb i eat mostly chicken n fish.for festivals i buy shrimp, squid or shellfish.otherwise i avoid high cholesterol food. ive not bought durians for decades and find its too expensive n has no health benefits, maybe eight, nine years once i will eat durian cendol or mochi.i prefer to buy healthy fruits like kenya avocado at rm 2 a fruit or zimbabwe blueberry or china green kiwifruit.i budget to buy five grain rice or basmati ponni rice with low GI.now i prefer sweet potatos or sweet potato noodles. for pastry i bake my own bread n tarts with stevia sugar, corn oil or coconut flour.but i love the sponge cakes sold in night market as they are sponge cakes, light and tasty from black sesame, matcha, mango, coffee to red velvet.its cheaper than baking my own butter cakes that cost rm10 per cake.the premium cakes, tea live or coffee are out of my budget.A premium loaf cake cost between rm 30 to rm45 and premium tea or coffee between rm18 to 20. My food motto is i eat to live.eat well to live well.
